Fin grew up in Arrival with Tara Deyn, and (unlike Tara) was a genius, having excelled in both his magical and non-magical education. He was spotted for his talent early, and his parents (who work for Tara Deyn’s parents) sent him to a Magistracy-run wizarding school in Arrival. His intellectual curiosity got him into trouble sometimes. He was so eager to solve mysteries that he did not always stop to think about the safest way to proceed.
Fin was loyal to his friends, especially Tara Deyn. He chose to follow her on an expedition to determine why the Godsriver stopped flowing. Fin often saw his role as being the brain that directed Tara’s brawn.
Fin is always upbeat and positive, even when he gets frustrated with his friends, though he can also be sarcastic.
